Who will be with my children?
All volunteers must be FBC Dover members, be background checked, and attend a yearly training. We require 2 adults in each classroom at all times.
Our preschool hallway is only accessible through our check-in volunteers. We also have a deputy on campus every Sunday.
What do I do on Sunday morning?
The first step is Check-In! You will register your children at one of our stations.
We have Sunday School classes for every age during the 9:15 hour. Children are placed into age appropriate groups and a list of classes for parents is available at Check-In or the Welcome Desk in the foyer.
Infants through Preschool meet in the main building Preschool Hallway, right next to the Santuary. Children grades K-5th meet in our Children’s Buildings B & C.
What do I do with my children during service?
Infants through Preschool will stay in the Preschool Hallway during service. If they attend the Sunday School hour, they will stay with the same group of children, but will have a new set of volunteers for the Worship hour.
Children grades K-5th will be picked up in the Corner Room and will attend service with their parents or guardians. We believe corporate worship is pivotal in the spiritual development of every child. Children’s handouts are available at the sanctuary doors before service.
Do you have midweek services?
Yes! Wednesday evening activities take place in our children’s buildings B & C.
We begin have large group lesson, small group activties and choir for grades K-5th from 6:00-7:30 pm.
Our preschool age children have their own program with Tiny Tunes music class as well as their own lesson and play time from 6:00-7:30pm.
