From a railroad depot to the ends of the earth, God has certainly done great things in our midst. He has exceeded above and beyond what we could ask or think. However, God is far from finished, so we are far from finished. God’s calling continues, for us to reach and make disciples of the lost and hurting people in our community and beyond. The Good News of Jesus still miraculously transforms lives and we are commanded and privileged to take that message of love with us wherever we go.
First Baptist Dover continues to partner with over 25 ministries locally and globally to spread the love of Christ and to disciple the Nations around the world. Through our missions program, we have been able to support various organizations and projects that serve those in need, both physically and spiritually.

Amazing Love Ministries’ mission is to provide support for the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of the people living in Tampa. We share the love of Christ through acts of service and allow people to accept Jesus as their Savior.
What started in 2016, our organization has quickly grown to encompass providing transportation across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, and Pasco Counties with a mission to one day be nationwide.
KBC exists to partner with churches in reaching unchurched children and their families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They seek to provide every pretten boy and girl with a Jesus experience.
The University of South Florida Baptist College Ministry exists to develop college students who influence the culture by teaching them how to know God and make Him known. They meet on Thursday nights at 7 PM in the BCM Building (13109 USF Sycamore Dr).
Choices Pregnancy Center is located in Brandon. Their mission is to glorify God and protect life by providing medical services and Christ-centered support to anyone at risk for abortion. They provide ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and consultations for both mom and dad.
Citizens Defending Freedom is an organization that empowers and equips American citizens to defend their freedoms and liberties at the local level. By streamlining and simplifying activism, they support and champion American citizens who want to stand up for their independence.
Crossing Cultures International seeks to equip Christ’s followers globally with comprehensive training for effective ministry. CCI provides a seminary-style education to Christian leaders around the world. CCI conducts Christian ministry in over 33 nations across Asia, Africa and the Americas.
Our goal is to make a difference in times of disaster by connecting Florida Baptist Churches and Associations to people and communities impacted by disaster by responding with Help, healing, and Hope that demonstrates and shares the love of Christ.
At FBC Dover, we care about the schools in our community. By partnering with several schools in our community, we are teaching our students to lead Bible Studies and resources for young Christians. We are blessed to participate in the Christian clubs at Independance Academy, Strawberry Crest, Tomlin Middle, and Plant City High School.
FBC Dover has a new ministry opportunity to help reach Haitians in the Dominican Republic. This opportunity has become possible through a connection with the Baptist Church of Yaguita. Pastor Smith Dumont is the pastor of the Baptist Church of Yaguita and also the founder of the Seminary at the church. He desires to train Haitian pastors to effectively reach the Haitian refugees in the DR.
ECHO’s mission is to assist residents of Eastern Hillsborough County in crisis with emergency food and clothing, offering life-stabilizing programs and resources. ECHO was was originally housed at a local firehouse and only provided emergency food and clothing. At that time, volunteers staffed it completely. Now, ECHO provides an array of resources for those in crisis.
Gideons International is an Association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony, and by providing Bibles and New Testaments.
Hope for Her is a safe place where women experiencing crisis and trauma find the strength, skills, and support they need to rebuild their best lives. We work one-on-one with women to help restore their confidence and self -worth, remove barriers to safety and survival, and rebuild critical life skills to thrive.
First Hmong Baptist Dover has been a mission church at FBC Dover since 2018. With over 6 and a half years of ministry at Dover, the Hmong have a home here at Dover to worship in their heart language. They are a member of the Hmong Baptist National Association, (HBNA) with about 3000 people living in our area.
The IMB serves Southern Baptists in carrying out the Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. Every year, Dover has given the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. This offering supports IMB missionaries with a variety of needs, such as food, housing, and transportation.
The command of God implores us as we “go into all the world we are to preach the Gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15); F.A.I.T.H. Riders take this calling seriously as the lifeblood of its existence and passion. We are a ministry, with the sole purpose is to share the life-changing Good News by equipping the saints to engage in practical ministry opportunities.
God’s Garden Preschool is a Ministry of FBC Dover. They offer full and part-time care for children 6 weeks through 5 years old, with VPK being offered for 4-year-olds. Full-time care is from 7:00AM to 5:30PM. Our morning preschool program for 2, 3, and 4-year-old children runs from 8:30-11:30 AM with options to extend the day before/ or after this time.
Lighthouse ministires serves the Tampa, Brandon, Plant City, Lakeland, and Winter Haven communities with a plethora of services. From learning centers to rescue centers and outreach centers to thrift stores, Lighthouse serves as a resource to its surrounding communities. They are kingdom-minded and make the Gospel essential for all those they help.
Missionary Flights International is about transporting lifesaving provisions and the hope of the gospel. They are passionate about aviation to stand in the gap for nonprofit Christian evangelical missionaries, organizations, and churches so that the gospel will be preached and lives will be changed for eternity.
The mission of Greater Brandon Meals on Wheels is to provide a service of supplying nourishing mid-day meals from Monday through Friday to those in the Brandon, Florida, community who are unable to serve themselves. Their needs may be temporary or permanent; physically or emotionally ill, handicapped in some way, young or old.
One More Child exists to provide Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families. Whether it’s providing clean diapers to newborn baby, food for a hungry child, safety for an abused child, or foster or adoptive homes to children crisis, One More Child works to share with children who have been abandoned, neglected or abused about the healing love of Jesus.
The Pregnancy Care Center of Plant City is committed to sharing current, accurate, and truthful information related to parenting, adoption, or abortion in a safe and nonjudgmental setting. The Pregnancy Care Center envisions a culture where women and men faced with pregnancy decisions are transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ and empowered to choose life for their unborn children and abundant life for their families.
Shiloh Baptist Association is an Association of evangelical Southern Baptist churches in Eastern Hillsborough and Western Polk Counties. Our Resources Center and Offices are in Plant City, FL. Shiloh Baptist Association exists because God chose the church to spread the Good News and we desire to support the local church in every possible way.
Tyndale is a First Baptist Dover ministry that offers students a Classical Education. The school is in its second year and plans to grow a grade every year. TCA families value their commitment to Christ in all they do. Our parents invest time in their child’s academic growth and share a love for learning and books. As we seek to cultivate healthy and godly habits in our students, parents are also mindful of technology use in their homes and encourage a Christian work ethic for the glory of God.
First Baptist Dover started ministering in Nicaragua in 2001. Over the years, through much prayer, God made it possible to plant a church in the community of El Tanque, just outside of Jinotepe. Today the church has about 200 congregants in a community of 500 people. The church is Dover Baptist Church of El Tanque.
United Pastors of America is a board coalition of Pastors who share a deep concern about the direction our nation is traveling. They seek to stand for the Judeo-Christian founding principles of our nation. They seek to support legislation that protects students in the schools from progressive policies.
