FIRST STEP

We care about discipleship! At Dover Students we provide opprotunities for students to take their next step in the faith. Sometimes thats taking the first step in the faith by believing Jesus lived the perfect life we strive to live, died the death we deserve, but didnt stay dead! He conquered our sin on the cross and death by His ressurection! Now He has ascended into Heaven where we will join Him for eternity. When students take their first step God moves in their life like never before!

NEXT STEP

Not every step in the faith is the same! When a student takes their “FIRST STEP” we are ready to help them take that “NEXT STEP.” It’s inportant we process our faith expecially as a new believer. Baptism is that “NEXT STEP.” Baptism does not save, but it demonstrates the saving grace God has given us. We believe baptism is an outward confession of an inward faith! Baptism is for the believer. Students who are seaking baptism are counseled on the biblical discription of baptism before being baptized.

ANOTHER STEP

No two students are the same. However, God calles every student to grow in our faith! At Dover Students we provide opprotunities for students to grow in their faith, serve in other areas of ministry, and use their spiritual gifts to reach students. Students can participate in our student led worship service, through service projects, in school clubs, mission trips, student lead teams, and by participating in other church ministries. Every step matters and we want to help each student take another step!

Wednesdays 6pm

At Dover Students we have an opprotunity for students to grow in Spiritual Formation by participating in a Mid-Week worship service. Our Student Worship kicks off with our  student lead worship team, Pastor George gives a Christ-center Biblical message, and we break into small groups to continue the the discussion and pray for one another.

Spiritual Foundation is important to the discipleship of our students. Our students meeting as a large group to pray for missions and then we break into classes. Our teachers lead students through a Biblical curiculum called Gospel Project. This curriculum takes students through the Bible in Three Years!

Impact Choir

Sundays 6pm

Under the direction of Pastor Andrew students have the abilily to use their talents and gift to participate in Student Choir. Students grow together in their talents through signing, playing instruments, drama, and skits. Every year our Impact Students take a Choir Tour to showcase the message of the Gospel.

Student Lead Team

Last Wednesday of the Month

Students have the ability to have ownership in how we do things in our student ministry. Our Student Lead Team is a coucil of students that help plan special events and project through the year. We want to empower students to lead in ways to mature them as Christians.

Special Classes

These are special classes to help student take their faith to another level. These classes to prepare students for leadership and to go on mission. Our classes are focused on Leadership, Discipleship, Sharing their faith, and Missions. These classes prepare students to prepare for missional outreach and mission trips.

Meeting Students Where They Are At!

We care reaching students were they are at. We minister to our Schools and help our student lead in Student Clubs. We are involved at Strawberry Crest, Independance Academy, Tomlin Middle, Plant City High School, Seffner Christian, Bailey Elementry and our Homeschool Community.
